Uihlein was speaking from the New York Stock Exchange, where the company, which makes golf balls, clubs, apparel and footwear under a handful of popular brand names, had just rung the bell to open Friday’s trading session.Recently a couple of high school students free dove to the bottom of that bay and found thousands of balls on the sea floor. This disturbed them because of how the balls come undone and can affect marine wildlife like fish. Fish apparently eat the rubber bands in balls as if it is nutritious which it obviously is not.
